93 sierra stuck in gear

So I got a 93 sierra with a gti engine the other day and the gear box felt very sloppy
And now it's stuck in 2nd
Is there any bushes that should be on the shifter itself?
As I pulled mine out and it's got no bushes on it at all
Any help would be helpful

Should be a (nylon?) bush in the housing / selector.

My gearbox is out at the moment, I can take a pic tonight but it wouldnt be until tomorrow I post it.
