Congratulations on being selected for Auszookers Zook Owner of the Month!

How does it feel being honoured with the nomination for Z.O.O.M. 2014?

It feels pretty good that someone has taken the time to notice the long hours and hard work spent in the shed building sierras.

So tell us about yourself. Who are you, What's the meaning to your username, Where do you live, and what do you do for a living?

My names Nathan, i live on the northside of Brisbane. I got the name ruthless from when i had my first cruiser ute and i smashed at least one cv every time i took it out 4wding. I work for an electrical contracting company that does major projects all over aust as a mechanical fitter at the moment im working in the new legacy way tunnel in Brisbane.

How did you get started in Suzuki's & how many have you owned?
Ive owned 6 sierras and enough parts to build at least two more. my fist sierra was mint ive never seen one that nice, had it for 3 days and a mate at schoolies stole it rolled it wrote the thing off put one guy in hospital and ran off as you could guess he isnt a mate any more

Image

i then got my black sierra i started work on it slowly progressed and got abused regularly was a great car

Image
Image

the next sierra i got was my lwb that got a supercharged gze motor in it, this car was a weapon for a leaf sprung sierra

Image
Image

i then got what i call the farm truck a red sierra i sold the fiberglass roof and back off it for more then the car and its still going strong today, shortly after i got a white sierra that came up cheap

Image
Image
Image

finally the project im on now and its my pride and joy a v8 sierra thats been cut down the middle widen 200mm bonnet and front guards lengthened on swb patrol chassis and difs every things been modified to be a very capable class 8 car its apart and getting painted at the moment i ended up trading the whitesierra for it was a great swap i thought.

How long did it take you to build your zook to what it is today?

The shitzu hald shitbox half suzuki ive owned it since December and in the 7 months ive built it up front a modified body and stock patrol gear, but Justin that owned it before me and had the idea and did the body work has had it for 4-5 years and just lost interest in it.

Any changes in store for your Suzuki?
Seeing as its almost finished there is going to be alot of test and tuning and depending on how things go but a full race spec ls motor and king shocks would be nice but im not that rich unfortunatly.

What has been your best modification?

Its hard to call both fuel injected motors and power steering have both been well worth it and one of the first things id do to any sierra.

What has been your worse modification?
4 spot lights on the roof or rock rights the amount of current they draw is crazy and the alternator cant keep up and then i start melting wires so it all went didnt have either of them on long.

If you could have anybody else's zook, who's would it be and why?
I would have to say 2evils buggy right before he took the 1.6 and auto out and put the commodore motor it it everything just worked so well on it then.

What has been your best 4wding trip?
It would had to have been all the trips out to ripley with everyone, there were some great times out there and i cant seem to do it anymore with a fast car.

If you could go to any place in the world to wheel, where would that be?

I would love to race the mint 400, vagas to reno and finally the fink but any sort of desert race would be great.

Who are you closest to in the auszooker's community?

There is heaps of people i couldnt really narrow it down to one person.

Tell us what the wheeling is like in your area?

There is everything all depends on how far you feel like driving and for what sort of terrain and if there it is fast car or rock crawling. My personal favorite is racing fast car at proston in the red dirt its a great track smooth and you can really go all out and not worry about hitting trees or rolling.

What other toys/hobbies do you put a lot of time into?
After work and my suzukis and racing i have a small boat i take out for a run hasn't cost me much and does the job its a 3.5m poly craft with a 15hp suzuki on the back

What is it about the auszookers that brings you back for more?

I would have to say half the characters that get on here and post things that gives you a laugh through the day.

What about the auszookers forum would you like to see changed?

MORE BOOBS Armsup thanks joe

Now for the million dollar question, who do you select to be the next Z.O.O.M. & why?

Its a hard call i have a few people in mind but im going to have to say dundie he is a great bloke always willing to help someone out and he has a jimny that would make most suzuki guys wet themselves.

I want to know how the tuff tender goes with the 15 on it. Safe enough to fish 2up without feeling like you're going ass-over with every cast?

So no bay work.

I have been thinking about a 4.1 side console, but the tuff tenders seem like great little boats and cheap fun. Apart from the lack of freeboard compared to a light tinny, I reckon it'd be perfect for what I need.

i used to drive one on a red mud dam. for those who dont know, think of a entire dam full of oven cleaner, and a 2stroke that's slowly dissolving because its made of aluminium....

thos polly boats are tough and more stable then a boat 2m longer. plus polly floats on its own. ally dosent.
