[Heideisadog]

Okay so I'm about to buy a G16B motor out of a Vitara for my sierra to do the conversion with but the one I have found is coming out of an auto Vitara. Is this a problem at all with wiring or joining the Vitara engine to sierra gearbox? Or is there anything that could cause a bit of extra trouble as it's an automatic?

Also I have made a bit of a list of the things I'll be needing to collect before I do the conversion. Can anyone see anything major that I'm missing? I have already started to collect bits and pieces!

-Engine conversion-

Things needed:
• G16B Vitara engine
• Vitara wiring lume
• Vitara ECU/computer
• Vitara speedo cluster
• BenT conversion kit
• New engine mounts
• Sierra SJ80 fuel tank
or
• SWB Vitara fuel tank - need to modify mounts
• Vitara fuel pump
• Vitara thermostat
• Vitara accelerator cable
• Sierra SJ70 starter motor
• Sierra SJ70 clutch/flywheel
• Sierra SJ70 clutch cable
• Falcon 110amp alternator
• High pressure fuel filter
• High pressure fuel lines
• Coolant hoses
• Vacuum lines
• Hose clamps
• G16B timing kit
• G16B water pump
• G16B rocker cover gasket
• Jimny G13BB extractors
• G16B/ G13BB exhaust gasket
•



And I'm doing PS at the same time:

-Power steering instal-

Things needed:
• Vitara power steering box
• Vitara power steering pump/pulley
• Vitara power steering reservoir
• Vitara power steering lines
• Power steering belt
• BenT conversion kit
•
