It's probably been asked 100 times but I've looked and looked...
What will I need to fit 255/70 r16 muddies on sunraysias onto a 92 swb jlx vitara ?
Can I get away with just a 2 inch suspension lift ? Car is currently stock

The answer is always the same. Suspension lift does not fit larger tyres. When the suspension flexes, the axles can move into the same position as before the lift was fitted, so the tyres will still foul. Bumpstop spacing, body lift or guard cutting are the only ways to fit a bigger tyre is it doesn't clear the standard guards. Once these things have been done some suspension lift might be helpful to recover some lost compression travel one bumpstop extensions have been fitted, but it's not the lift that's fitting the tyre.

That size specs at only 30" tall, so it should fit Ok- a little guard work might be required and the front and rear edges of the front guard.
