I have a 06 jimny 2 months ago i had a full gearbox rebuild and a new clutch put in, ever since then ive had alot of trouble selecting 1st gear, it will only go into 1st when car is completely stationary. Which it never did before, it can be a pain at times when i need to go into first but have to completely stop to do so,
Ive been told that my clutch may need adjusting just wounder how easy it is to do and if i do to see if that fixes my issue

The only adjustment is free play measured at the pedal. I guess it’s possible the arm on the clutch pivot was installed a spline out, and the clutch cable misadjusted to suit. From memory the clutch pivot arm should be vertical with the clutch pedal at rest.
