Hi all, the G16B engine in my son’s 1999 Jimny has died in such a way it can’t be rebuilt.

Just to keep options of a replacement as large as possible is will the G16AID found in the APV van fit with sump, oil pickup and rocker cover swap?

Your sons Jimny should have a g13bb (1.3 efi)
Unless it's had an engine swap of course.

I'm not all over the APV 1.6s but I would think if you swapped in the long block with the sump change it should be OK

The Jimny was already swapped to a G16B
