Hey guys i am still having trouble with my wiring: Every time i turn the head lights on i blow my interior fuses so radio, clock, dash lights and door lights. i have replaced the radio rewired the radio harness and even had an auto electrician look at the radio and rewire the earth.

So is there any thing else that could make the fuses blow? Its not the radio so any ideas?

assuming the earth for the radio isnt wired to teh dash lights youve got a short somewhere, probably in teh tail light loom

you dont really have a choice but to start isolating bits of loom till you find it

Does it blow with headlights or park lights on?

yes and yes

if it only blows on headlights, IE the second click of the headlight switch, try flicking it to high beam first and then turning on, will narrow it down a bit

Ah, I had this same problem a month ago. I wired a stereo up and connected it to a wire that the multimeter said was an earth.

Everytime I turned on my headlights it would blow the fuse. If you have just put in a stereo (or something else) try using another earth.

edit- just reread your post, does it do it if you disconnect the stereo earth altogether?
