Hi All

I have just found that the front end trailing arms on my coily aren't straight. The deflection (bow) is about 3-6mm from straight. Is this something to consider, as in replacing them or leave well enough alone. The car is still steering straight and ther's no obvious signs of tyre wear.

Any feed back would be appreciated.

Mark

Go get some spare ones from the wreckers anyway. If you use it off road, it's only a matter of time before you make the bend worse or snap one. They aren't to difficult to change.

When asking, ask for Jimny ones and not SJ80. Most just seem to get confused when asking for Coil Sierra ones and give an outright No in response to having any. The are essentially identical.

In saying that, mine are probably bent about the same.

Probably wouldn't hurt to have your alignment checked out though if it's a Daily Driver, although it may drive straight, if it's out it could cause unnecessary tyre wear. I don't drive mine enough to care whether it's out or not.

I have been asked on more then one occassion on who did my coil conversion. Probably doesn't help that i have a 1L front and Santana badges on it.
