Talking to laurie about it, hes used a 2 flasher pin relay and that seems to have worked some how?

If i was to go down the resistors path, what rating would i be looking for?

That will depend on the voltage drop across your LED's.

Hey guys the above link shows a relay with the same pin setup as my current one (a denso 166500-0230) so im assuming that would be a straight swap?
