are coil spacers worth the money with standard sj80 springs or should i wait until i have lifted suspension first???

coil spacers with longer struts would be okay, but with standard struts you will fuck the mounts and the shocks will top out.

How can a strut top out when you have effectively lengthened the distance for the strut to top out with a coil spacer? Don't you mean it will just bottom out quicker?

all you are doing is effectively raising your ride height. The suspension travel will still be the same with a standard strut it will just have a higher static position. A longer strut would be better as you could get some more droop out of it. A struts internal bumpstop is designed to take bottom out loads so it shouldn't be a problem to whack a spacer in...you will get get less droop as you have rasied it however high the spacer is.

He'll get less travel with a spacer as the springs will compress up before the bumpstop is hit.
