I have put an early vitara rear lock rite into a 413 rear different but never even seen the insides of a Jimmy diff . A mate has asked if a mid 90's vital rear lock rite would fit a Jimmy rear ? Anyone got any info on this .
Thanks
Chris

Send an email to Dave Jones at bits4vits in the UK, he has a Vit LSD fitted in a Jimny axle. It was fitted by Rockwatt Engineering. From what I recall from a thread on BigJimny the centre size is the same or similar, Dave or Richard would know for sure.

The easy way would be to look up lockrite and see what they specifi for each car, I'm pretty sure vitara's sierras and Jim's all run the same rear lockers

Jack is correct

Vits use the same locker pieces, except they retain the factory pins, where the sierra requires new pins, as it has grooves cut into the pins to allow lubrication, but these also act as weak points where cracks occur.

It will work, but depends on the pins in the rear of the jimny.
If you dont use new pins, it may eventually fail.
