Hmm i have some tubes here do you pinch them easy though? At least with tubeless you just clean the shit out put a rachet strap around it and blow it up and your sweet but if you pinch a tube what do you do?.
Could be completely different but on my motorbike we just carry a spare tube and change it over. But its not quite as easy as a moty tyre.

It is my dd but i run road tyres during the week then change over to my simexs for the weekend only takes ten mins with a rattle gun and trolley jack and keeps the jack dogs off ya tail!

if you pinch a tube you still have a tubeless tyre to inflate, just have to carry a spare valve to pull through the rim (or a spare tube of course).

i never pinched a tub on mine though.

my tubes actully saved me once... had a screw go right through the tyre and i heard it ticking on the road.. pulled the screw out and drove to get the tyre repaired... the screw had gone right through the tyre and scratched the tube but not popped it =)

I've run simex pedes from new till bald and now run swampers. I presonally think the swampers are an all round better offroad tyre with softer rubber and tyre construction to conform to terrain. But I believe the Simex would last longer on road than swampers or silverstones if running them daily like I did. They are a heap louder on road than the swampers though. Everyone who says the simex are shite on rock astounds me too, because I never had a drama with them and rocks are my favourite terrain.

i got 30000 to 35000km out of my first set of silverstones and they are still cruising around elcho on my old troopcarrier.
