Here are some pics of how I rerouted my exhaust, on a budget. I had to move it properly to get around the lwb vit tank, and to stop it rattling.
I also moved the exit up much higher, as it was often gouging into the ground.
I pulled the old exhaust out and carefully removed every bend to reuse.
I got some flange gaskets, then made some flanges out of 5mm plate, drill and hole-saw. The outside shape was with cutting disc on an angle grinder, and a bit reckless. I didn't care, as long as it was worked.
I also didn't clean it very well before welding, and welds look terrible.
I cut the exhaust pipe going into the muffler to redo the angle to position the muffler to be where I wanted it.
I needed to finish, and needed more straight pipe, and an extra bend. Which is why I had to use 39nb pipe.
It needs to be extended at the output slightly, but I'm pretty happy with it.
When I do my efi, and aw4, I will redo the exhaust, with 2" extractors to the exhaust, and 1.75" after the exhaust.
