My choke seems to come on after the engines warm. Ive spayed the linkages a few times, it goes away then returns after the next drive. Any ideas? I did get some water splash into the cover. Maybe causing it to stick? Can I remove the auto choke? Any help to solve this will be great.

ok, when i got it the raidator was making gurgling noises, not overheating on the gauge though. I then replaced the thermostat and that fixed that. Ive drained the coolant into a bucket. top up with water drove down to the school and back(engine still reeving hard) come back and drained it. ill wait till shes cool before i top up. Hmmmm

you know when you drain the coolant you need to top up preferabley with the engine running once the thermostat opens?

Hey thanks. Yeah turned in over as i was topping back up with coolant. Problem solved. Car running alot better now too. Maybe i should turn heater on and give it a blast of water in there. Havent turned the heater on yet. Should you turn heater on before flushing motor? Thanks again for your help. Dave
