I'd say getting in the region of 11-12 L per 100. I think my zook is running a bit rich though.
Remember though Sosilboy that the zook is revving it's ring-piece out and it's ballistic shape isn't really suited for fuel efficient running. Different gearing, body shape, driving styles etc all combine to make for poor fuel economy.

I think you should compare apples with apples though, a Charade isn't an off-road machine...

Having said all that, I must confess to being disappointed at the economy of the zook. My old '83 Pajero turbo wagon was getting a good if not better milage. Similar ballistic shape, probably at least half again as heavy, but was giving in the region of 28mpg on long hauls - and had 250K+ on the clock.

Still, I loves me zook....

my vit now gets 10l/100km with aircon on, 9.2 with it off
my old sierra, 1.3 3" suspension, 2" body, 31's and rockhopper used to get 11-12/100km but you had to drive it hard to get anywhere
my 82 1 litre hardtop with same mods but 1 litre and 4speed got bang on 10l/100km regardless of what you did or where you went, you could set your calculator by it

driving style has a lot to do with it, back off a notch and take a few minutes longer to get there will see you saving heaps, as will making sure its tuned spot on

I'm getting 450km out of a 40L tank and having the aircon on makes very little difference but I attribute this performance to the Variable Valve Timing (VVT). Handy thing that VVT!

im on about 13L per 100Km, but the engine is not in great condition and I work as a delivery driver so it does heaps of stop starting

mine gets 16lt per 100km. but i use my right foor a fair bit. its a 1lt with a 4spd

I will just add that on a recent highway run from tenterfield to Brisbane I got 8.9l/100km from the vit

*revive* does anyone know what the economy ratings were for zooks when they were new?

My daily driver (Lancer VRX) get 630km and takes about 36 to 39Lts to refill. (44lt tank)

My does too. I went and put a bigger fuel filter on mine from an early modle blue bird and replaced all fuel lines, and next step is to check the charcol filters to see if that makes a diff.
