but with the gears in the t-case that means it will only work in 4wd, i was more thinking of road use with the big tyres and stock motor
There must be something wrong with my motor then, i have to be flat down on the pedal just to keep it at 90ks on the free way
is that normal for sierras ??

sierra transfer gears also work in 2WD
mine lower highrange 2 or 4WD by 20% and low range by 180ish%

I run 31s with stock motor and gearing.......absolutly terrible!! 6.5s are in the mail. You will be sick of the bigger tyres in a months time. My advice is gearing, then if you want more power do the 1.6 vit motor.

31s with stock gearing means shitty driving and a very short lived clutch...
Gears are the only way.

I'll have 33's with 1L transfer and 4.6 R&P. Should be almost stock gearing. And the 1.6 gives me some extra grunt

31s weigh about 18-20 kg each. 27s would be about 12kg i think.

1.6 isn't really a must but gearing definitely is...

You can't get 110 on 27s with stock gearing?
Maybe you need to figure out whats wrong with your car... A good tune up is in order.

You don't need a 1.6 to do 110...

i had a similar problem with the jimny a while back, couldnt go past about 90km/h, and the revs wouldnt go past about 3950 rpm. put in some injector cleaner and premium fuel and it solved that problem.
dont listen to me, i dont know much, seriously, but just a suggestion.
but i agree with the others, you should find out whats wrong with your car first before you play with the gearing.

Stock as A rock 1.3 with 6.5 transfers gets mine to 100 kmh at 3500 rpm and 110 kmh at around 4000 rpm. Top speed on a flat road is 130 kmh
