Hey Guys,

Just have my cars in bits, I've got a million different greases but was unsure what to use in this bit??

Also I'm guessing the screw on bit that covers the bearings shouldn't be less than finger tight?

Bearing grease mate.

Any general purpose grease would be fine. I like to use Marine grade on my hubs, just incase a little moisture gets in.

no, bearing grease general purpose can mean anything, even pig fat

and no the nut shouldn't be finger tight, bearings probably flogged

Bearings didn't have any movement in them, I've never noticed the movement before. I'll see how it goes once it's all back together and driving.

I used HTB grease, I wasn't sure if maybe I should have had to use Moly grease or just bearing grease.

If all else fails, I'll just PM weaves

just putting a swivel hub kit through mine now..my bearing nuts were loose as well..but my inside bearing was just a handful of metal completly shot..how tight should they be according to the book..I just cranked them up tight then backed them off so the wheel spins easy..plus my axle seals and king pin bearings were on there last legs as well..all fixed now though .
