looking for some advice, just fitted up an iron man lift kit, bout 50mm lift, any way, looking at the two front springs they seem to have a bit of a ben to them when at rest.. are extended coild or any coils on the front of a vit suposed to have a slight bend in them,
Also on the drivers side of the transfer case there is a round alloy thing with a rubber center, is it supposed to be bolted to the transfer case? is it a mount? what size bolt goes through it?
cheers in advance

mmm. think I might get a service manual tommorow.... instead of guessing and hitting with a BFH when things dont work.

As a long term zook owner/driver
I have learnt to carry a BFH as part of the normal travel tools
Manual is a wise investment.

it sounds like it's a NVH dampener Greg, sort of looks like an engine/gearbox mount? there is only 1 transfer mount & thats on the bottom of the case on cross member.

You're not a real Zook driver til you've hit something with a BFH on the side of a track in the middle of nowhere

where is it on the transfercase? if it's not attached to the crossmember & case i'd saw it's a NVH dampener.

Ha Ha Ha... i am here, just watchin whats being said here... see if any, and what amount of BS gets dribbled, or if gregwatkins75's question actually gets answered...
Yes the Bow/Bend in the coil, like in christover1's pic, is perfectly normal...
So how do you find the Ironman Suspension ?
As for the other inquiry, will need a pic to see what you are referring too...

i think it is a mount i seen it the other day on my chassis sitting under the house haven't looked at my car to see whether it is connected. i just went and looked for you no time to take picks but it does have a bolt through it. 2 bolts go through the tcase mount and another bracket bolts to the tcase with 2 bolts then one goes through the round bit looked like about a 10 or 12mm socket.
