Just wondering what pulleys are required for the alternator and crank to run a vitara power steer setup? And if anyone has any? Also what belt no do people use?

I put a falcon alt on and used a g13bb bottom crank I think, swift water pump and maybe a g13bb water pump pulley.... Buggered if I know, look at my build it's all in there...

Pulleys sorted. Next question which pitman arm do u use sierra or vitara?

I used the Vitara pitman arm, for no reason other than it was too hard to remove, and it fit perfectly.
There are other choices,
like Tarrago pitmans and low range pitmans,
but this does depend onn what other mods you have/intend.

so the sierra one doesn't fit on? Are they different splines? Does the steering dampener fit with the vit pitman

I did not try a Sierra pitman, so can't answer that.

There is no mount for the steering damper on a Vitara pitmam arm.
Never got round to fitting one,
it was fine with out one.
The fluid of power steer must act like a damper?

measure around the pulleys in mm
the belt will be a 4pk? by mm you measured ie 4pk1245 if its 1245 mm long

Have you gone multi V or single V belt?

Think mine was 3 or 4PK 815,
but it was a while ago.

Run a string round it, to get approx length,
that, and number of ribs is all an auto shop needs.

Pump has 4pk pulley and I'm getting the spidertrax crank pulley. So then just measure those and away I go

Pretty sure mine was a stock Vitara power steering (non air con) belt.

But yes, get it all in position and measure it

I doubt you will need a steering dampner with power steering. JMO

Awesome just gotta get the brackets and it will be goin in. Can u use them with out the pump if need be

Yep, you can run a PS box without the pump as long as it's capped off.
