Hi,
I have purchased a Escudo Nomade with H20a v6 in it. She is a tidy beast with about 150k's on the clock.
I have had the timing assembly rebuilt as it had a rattle, and it runs great now and quiet...
I had the compression tested and it came out at 180 on each cylinder... Is this god, bad, or what... I am not sure and have searched this forum and the suzki-fourums.com posts and could not find the information...
Anyone here know the correct compression for one of these... I don't expect mine to be great at 150k's but how far from rebuild is she?
She runs mint on the rough river beds of the west coast of the south island in NZ too BTW...
Standard 199 psi, lower limit 156 psi - engine must be warm, throttle plate fully open and battery fully charged to achieve a minimum crank speed of 400 rpm - I'd say you're in good shape.
