The jimny pitman arm is way shorter than the sierra 1,i picked up my power steering today and i was gob smaked it looks like it will work realy well with my RUF plans and i also orded some fancy renfourcing plates for the front of my chassis that kinda cap around the chassis all the way to the out riggers and around them it will look awsome once there glued on (will look very very factory like ) :)

well i shed some light on it for yas then u can take the piss all day long :)
#1 im doing a ruf ,
#2 the diff moves foward 25ish mm
#3 the steering arms are know to rub
#4 wanted power steer so my wife will drive the zuk
#5 the steering arm is shorter and will give me the clearence i need for my drag link and such.
and as far as i know a jimny steers ok and power steer will change it dramaticaly any how trial and error will happen but the research iv done so far proves this to work but hey who knows it may go belly up we will see...
im also using coily bumpstops so there is a danger there using anything coily

vitara on is also shorter but not so short as to effect the steering lock which the jimny one might.
i believe they will fit the same spline.

The spline is different.

It does not affect lock, just the amount of turns lock to lock.

Nah Pete what I am saying is you cant achieve what he is chasing with just a vitara or jimny arm you need the whole steering box the spline is different to sierra

I would start a build thread but I’m not comfortable to put my work or ideas out there. Also I’m not Shure how to, or if peeps want to even know about it, also I thought this was just the gen post area I’ve only been around auszookers for a while so I’m still trying to nut it all out. Hence why you guys are getting the shits with me. I can’t talk to any one I really know about zooks "they couldn’t care less" u guys love zooks as do I. Yes I’m new to zooks but I’m not stupid or to stuck up, but I’m experienced in basic fabrication and basic general engineering and automotive. I just love reading and chatting about zooks I’m doing a build at the moment that’s taking way way too much time but I have to be patient.

Half the time I don’t know if peeps are taking the piss or joking as it all how u read the text at the time, but hey I’m here still and willing to learn I just hope I don’t drive u all crazy in the proses lol
