take it the odo has stoped counting too?
step one, make sure the cable is still in the transfer
step 2, undo cable from transfer and flick it round by hand while smebdy watches to see if the needle flicks, if so its in the transfer
if not
step 3, slide the inner cable out, should be square on the speedo end , if not its striped or snapped
alternate step 3, reach up under the ash and undo the cable and pull it down, it houldnt turn by hand if so cable prob snapped (this is hard to do though)
