as long as u have an "OBD2" port on your ecu im pretty sure all EFI cars produced from 95 onwards do it will plug right in

EDIT: i have 1 in my jeep and bought my average fuel consumption down from 22L/100km to 17L/100km

Not sure if this is any help, but I can confirm the Scan Gauge II works in the 2013 Suzuki Jimny.

It should work on a 2011, Aus introduced EOBD from 2006 although diesels may have been a little later. You would need to check if EGT is a standard OBD2 PID, if it isn't then it would only be available from a Suzuki dealer tool.

go to your local dealer and ask if it has an OBD2 port as that is more than likely what they will plug their computers into to check for faults so they should know if that is the fitting u have.

Yeah it has an obd plug. Would a dealer let that type of info out?

You need to borrow an OBD2 reader from someone and try that out, the main dealer tools don't use OBD2, they use a Suzuki proprietary implementation. The OBD plug is common to OBD1 and OBD2 so you can't tell from that.
