I've never heard of anyone wanting to do that. Why not run the Baleno alt? I don't know how much draw an EFI motor requires over a carby motor but it could be possible that a Sierra alt wouldn't be up to the task.

you need the baleno alt, you also should be using the baleno loom, so the plug for the alt should be a baleno one.

Change it back. Baleno alt and Baleno plug. How much did he charge for the loom?

Im using sierra alt but seems to not sit right ..it did on the other motor. - Loom is fantastic very very tidy work, and it cost $550 .u actually still use the Sierra charge and start wires so thats why bolted it on.
Steve I think his name is ¿¿ @ kkk said he probably still has a plug and will post with a diagram from color to color to get me out of trouble.
Im confused why the alternator bolted to the g16a and not g16b I have to have done something tard.

Did you ask for the loom to retain the Sierra alt plug?

stockman wrote: Did you ask for the loom to retain the Sierra alt plug? The charge system isnt part of the loom u get back..he instructs u to just use ur stock charge system and start wire . If I knew it to be a problem I would have cut it off before sending the whole baleno loom. U get a couple of relay blocks with a couple of fuse blocks and it just piggy backs of ur factory loom.....kinda like just wiring a steza ....1 to constant power , 1 to ignition ...fans-fuel pump ect

Sounds like you just sent him the Baleno loom? For that kind of money I thought you would of sent both looms and got one merged loom back.
