Does anyone know how thick a sierra windscreen is?

I had a bit of a lay down on the weekend and can't seem to find a windscreen surround anywhere!

I have winch and snatch blocked the frame fairly well... Bent th doors back so the windows wind up...

It's looking like I will have to make a template and get some laminated safety glass cut

I'm going to ring suzi store and piranha at the em of the week but ill sit down so when they tell me a price I don't fall over!

It's definatly a toy car! Haha I got a price from suzi store....350 plus postage plus paint plus windscreen... Will be about 600! Bugger that priced up glass and that will be 100....

Laminate safety glass is 6mm.... I think it should be right to go in the stock windscreen rubber?

When I got a new windscreen for my lj the guy used my old one as a template and cut it out of the same thickness safety glass. You will need to make an accurate template. The guy that did it for me did a lot of hotrod custom screens, is in alexandra which is a fair trip for you for a screen. I imagine there would be someone closer to you though. You will need your frame to be flat no twist in it. Glass doesn't like to bend.

Toughy yeah ill make a template! It's flat now after the winch work I did on it after looking at it tonight I think if I do a little bit more a stock screen will go in... But I think I would still rather go the template idea so I know 100% it's going to fit! Haha
