So im planning on running some 215/75/r15 muddies and was wondering if the tyres will fit with stock height without scrubbing or will i need a 2'' lift.

Chris, they will fit. Some report minor scrubbing with no lift and others say they are fine. Remember that unless you change your bump stops or cut the guards the lift does not give you any more clearance under full suspension travel. However the 215/75/15 will fit under the guards without doing either of these. I think they do look better with a small lift though.

I ran 215/75 mud tires on my jimny at stock height for 30000km's with no issues. Only time it would scrub was when the steering was at full lock going in reverse with some wheel articulation and even then i would call it more gentle and delicately kissing rather than scrubbing

right, but it will give you the clearance you need for day to day driving  plus a bit of clearance before starting to hit the "scrubbing" part of the suspension travel.. so you won't scrub that easy unless you full flex.

..kinda what I need now with my 235s.. can't hit a small bump with speed without scrubbing everywhere
