Hey all last night I went for a bit of a drive to take some pics of the flex with the wide track diffs etc.. was driving down a small track in 4WD and went to knock her into 2WD and got locked out of all gears :( Now it's floating in no mans land (Neutral). I tried rocking the car back a forwards etc.. but couldn't get it to un-jam managed to get her to a mates nearby but going round today to fix her in the light. My question is what is the best and easiest way to resolve this problem and what would be the cause and solution to preventing this happening? All help apprieciated Thanks in advance Cheers Robb.

1. Remove shift lever
2. Realign shift rods
3. Replace shifter bush
4. Replace shifter
5. Go zookin'

Thanks Damo. Should I replace anything in the future to prevent this?

Pulled her apart yesterday just popped the shifter out and the bush was screwed! (all crumbled) and shifter had dropped as a result, so cleaned her all out & will drain all oil and replace with new bush. We realigned the rods but now waiting on a bush to finish the job.

Anyone know where I can get a shifter bush on a Sunday in Eastern Suburbs Melbourne?

Cheers Robb.
