I`ve heard it said thay fit, would this be std Gv springs to give lift?
I will have a spare set of 2inc lift Gv springs soon & was wondering if thay could go into a mate`s 2lt v6 wagon vit.
I`m thinking thay will be to stiff.

Any one?

Steve.

give it a shot, they couldn't be any stiffer than the calmini ones!

I have lifted GV springs in my NT (tee hee) vit in the front and stock GV wagon springs in the rear (SWB), they probably are stiff but I'm used to stiff cars

good for about 40mm lift

I know of the strut top flip, any thing else? My rear shoky`s should fit but doubt the strut`s will.

The Wt`s run the center wishbone on the rear to? I`ll have to space that, have I forgotten anything?

I have OME and lots of travel but standard struts should still be fine with small lift (I reckon a v6 wagon would be similar weight to a GV anyway) rar shocks are pretty short anyway but not a lot you can do

I hate them fucking wishbone spacers, stupid idea

What did you do with your wish bone?

I could get a bigger 1 made I suppose. Just trying to do it as cheap as possible for him...

my wishbone is as suzuki intended, I know it bottoms out 1 inch before the shocks do if the diffs drops evenly, if I am ever dumb enough to get that hung up I will worry about it then

Yeah, GV's & that part of the vit is still together, but if you want to pull it apart, be my guest.

NAH, not much, I have a few people interested in the motor and bits and bobs and one guy interested in the whole car, but have only sold a cople of parts, but I have pretty much stripped the body. its hard to know how much to ask for and how much is too expensive, but I'm the one putting the work in so I dont just want to give it away.

Got a 2.5 calmini kit coming cheap, shock`s are stuffed so gunna replace them, then start saving for the locker.
I`ve only got small tyre`s so ratio isn`t as important as flex to me.. looking at early next year. Have a read through your diff thread & look at what joeblow said about the front diff, it`s not a straight swap.

I think he's talkin about thr complete diff, I'm only doing the centres.
Oh shiiiit......I dont know what I'm doing, now i'm really confused...I thought I'd be able to slip my 4.3 centres out and bolt the 5.12's straight in.

I did the same thing, I gather that you want to get rid of the vacc operated front? That`s when you need the sierra side gears ( i think ) the rear so i`m told will go straight in.

So if you leave the vacc in you change ring & pinion`s over.

With me? ( took me a bit )

I would think ditching the vac stuff and adding freewheeling hubs would be the go.

yeah you put the vit stuff in and fit freewheeling hubs, youll need to pull the vacuum line off the pump under the bumper and cap it so it can suck in and think the diff is locked when you put it in 4wd otherwise the light on the dash blinks

though I would get the gears fitted back into your steel stuff, youll smash the alloy bits pretty quickly
