:? Can anyone out there help, I am about to fit an aftermarket tacho as my dash one seems to have a mind of its own at times. I thought seeing as I have one laying around I might as well fit it, is there any idiosyncracies with 1.3 sierras ignition that I should be aware of.

Yeah I had to find my tacho wire the other day. From memory its the black with orange or red trace that goes into the coil.

if you want to mate you can pick up all you need off the back of the dash cluster.. saves running wires everywhere.

thats what I did with mine, and its all apples.
just broke out the old test light and pulled the plug on the back
of the cluster and tested each wire when I turned on my parkers
etc. pretty straight forward.
