Just wondering how much wear is allowable on side gears for lock rights to operate correctly. It’s a bit worn and glazed on the right hand side of the teeth but the top and left sides still seem to be alright.

Cheers Ryan

No sure man, but i read on here somewhere that not using the couplings causes the lockrights to make more noise and wear out very fast

Yeah I thought about getting a set of couplings for it but i haven't been able to find anywhere that sells the couplings without having to get them specially imported.

If you have the lockers without the couplings then you can't just add the coupling as the locker halves are different.

ahhhh.....true. Would I be better off looking around for a set of second hand side gears in better condition than mine are and using them or should I just stick mine in and hope for the best?
