hey guys chasing a rear barn door pin for the hinge seem to have lost it .... any one know where to get another

You could just make one from some piano or music wire available from any good hobby shop or maybe Bunnings.

Most piano wire or music wire is imperial but 9/32 should do the trick and a length will re-do all the hinge pins on the car 2 or 3 times. Should cost you 10 - 12 bucks.

will wire do the same as a solid metal tapered pin ?

he obviously though you mean the tailgate stop wire, most sierras loose these over time.

probly easier to buy a whole new hinge mate
