as it says above, can it be done? Whats the trick to getting off the narrow track flares without braking stuff? Can you fit wide track flares without the rubber behind it?

WT flares will bolt to an NT body ...IF... You also have the WT flare mounting brackets... (which are welded on to a WT so you'll have to cut them off and then weld or bolt [or rivet] to your NT.

With the rubbers. You don't need the rubbers for the flares to fit. They do fill in the small gap which stops crap from getting in there. Up to you as to wether you think that's important or not.

Sux about the girls lol
How did you get on with the flairs? I have em on my lwb.
I ground the spot weld holding the bracket onto the w/t body off then bolted the flair to it and held it to my n/t body to raise them high up.
Once I was happy I marked it them pop riveted the bracket to the body then attatched the flair to it and your done!

yeah one of them newer years.

If you have the wide track flares and they would cover the tyres i would just use those? What are bushwhackers? are they just those rubber things? if so, i'd do the steel WT flares first, and if you need to you can screw some little rubber flare extensions later on.

Idealy it's best to have the WT flare brackets that you can pop rivet or spot weld on, but they can be hard to come by if you don;t have them already. I just made some little brackets that i welded on to the body, and then welded the flare to the bracket. It's not ideal, but i don't want them to fall off if i hit a fence or something, and i can easily cut the bracket if i want to take the flares off.
