In stock form, is a Vitara anywhere near as capable off road as a Sierra? You don't seem to see any Vitara's on big tires etc. What do you recon?

vitaras are to low standard. especially under the sills etc.
my stock sierra had similar clearance/capabilities to my vitara when it was on 225 75 15s and had a 40mm lift.

vitara wins hands down on the road however the only sierra i drove reminded me of a rocking horse
