Just wondering does anyone here have the MU Canvas Bikini top for the Sierra which doesn't have the straps that attaches it to the rear. I am looking at getting a Bikini top from them but not sure which version to get. The strapless one I prefer however i was interested in how it attaches to the B Pillar.
Also can anyone confirm that the diff drain plug on a 94 is a female 10mm hex head?
I went to change the diff oils today and nothing in my kit fitted the drain plugs.
Tried 10mm Allen Key (too big) 8mm Allen Key (too small)
Also tried Imperial sizes and still nothing.
Did the drive of shame to local Repco and Super Cheap and they had nothing that fitted, granted neither had a huge range and every excuse why they didn't.
It is some sort of female hex socket and appears to be stock but buggered if i can work out what it is. :?:

Cheers
Jason.

Thanks Saam,
Don't i feel like a true blonde.
You are 100% right, Serves myself right for listening to the young guy at Repco.
When i went to get the oil he assured me that it would be a hex head and was also adament that the fill plug wasn't a square. I showed him the square fill plug but never got right under the car to check out the drain plug.

Warning bells should have sounded earlier.

Cheers

Ah that has got to suck Brobeau.
On the list of my mods is diff breather extensions however not sure how far down the list they are. :?:
The oil that drained out of both my diffs looked quite ok, a little bit of crap but nothing i am overly worried about.
Replaced both with Castrol EPX 80w-90 next job is the transfer case and gearbox. Too many jobs and so little time.
As others have suggested the 3/8 ratchet drive has undone all of my diff drain and fill points. Going to buy a true 10mm square drive as I don't think the Sidchrome 3/8 drives are up to the task too often. :D At least my dirt bikelooks like it has now been sold which will fund the majourity of the mods which are about to come.

Also to bump the post
Has anyone have pics of how the MU canvas bikini top attaches to the B Pillar.
At this stage i am looking at buying the bikinin top but doing the full 3 part system soon after. Just interested to close up pics of how it all hangs together.

Cheers
Jason.
