Should probably try and find a cheap manual instead of annoying everyone on here with all my questions lol.. Anyways... My sierra is running really rich.. Teribble fuel consumption, spitting black oily stuff out the exhaust etc... Can anybody tell me how to ajust it? Would it be worth booking it in somewhere and getting a professional tune? Where would I be able to get that done and what kind of money would I be looking at?? Cheers myles

If you don't know what your doing then take it to someone who does... Don't try to tune it yourself.

Hmmm.. It's booked in tomorrow with a guy called barry at strathpine that suzisport put me onto, he's going to do a professional tune up for $70. I just checked, I'm pretty sure it's not the choke..

Mine spits black stuff out too. But my carby is about 3 months old after rebuild. These things happen. I got mine rebuilt for $220, these things are tempramental. If you could afford it do it...one less thing you won't have to worry about for a while. Just a thought though, each to their own.
