is the sierra 5 speed rear gearbox mount the same as the 4 speed? i have the mount from the 4 speed, 1 bolt in gearbox that fixes it to the rubber. but the 5 speed has 4 bolts there, am i missing a part? urgent! cheers

ok, clear as mud. thanks Damo. i need the bracket shown in the first photo that the dude is holding onto, haven't got this. the rubber piece just bolts directly to the 4 speed. anyone got this bracket, need urgently to do gti conversion, engine and gearbox ready to go in. i will post some pics later today.

solved. bracket found with a gearbox for 50 bucks, now have 2 gearboxes. note, an old sj50 (1 litre with a 4 speed) has different gearbox/engine mount bracket locations than the 1.3 litre models, do not attempt swift conversion, unless you can drink plnety of rum to solve the problems logically!
