G'day everyone,

I recently bought my first suzuki ( and love it). I do not have much of a mechanical background, but am learning on the zook (finding it quite strait forward to work on). Have been reading the forums here and heard a few terms for the different models of zooks and was hoping someone could help me out, I have a 1984 sierra 1.0 litre, What is this model referred to (keep it nice please), and does anyone know if the auto technica seats fit into this. I am also after a steering wheel and boss kit and have not had much help from the people at (not so) Super Cheap.

Cheers

Its an SJ410. Good units :D

Yes the seats will fit with some slight rail mods, and yes you can get a boss and wheel. Try Autobarn.

It'll also be a NT (Narrow Track). Being the 1.0lt not as popular as the 1.3 however you have decent gearing.

personally I think the 1.0L is better than the 1.3L.

I have owned 2x 1.3L, and 4x 1.0L, and I always liked the little buz box 1.0L better :D And they have the best looking grille too! :thefinger:

I've got the Autotechnica seats in my 95 sierra.

Easy to fit.

2 niggles I have are…
1. they are too wide for the sierra and the backrest rubs on the pillar on the passenger side.
2. The foam under padding on the wrap around parts (the bits that keep you snug in the seat) have move away from their position on my driver's seat.

They are a comfy seat, but the quality isn't the greatest. I have heard of people who by these seats, cheap as they are, and have them re-upholstered with a heavy duty vinyl or leather.

I'd consider looking at the GTI swift seats or SAAS for my next set.

Fatzook

Nothing to compare my little truck with, but I am wrapped with her, have owned cruisers, hilux, patrols, and this little beast is unstoppable. Went from a $60k patrol when we lived in alice to the suzi now that we are on the east coast (didn't see the sense in driving a new car around in the salt water and beach) but the kids and I love the suzi better.

Suzi's only from here on!!
