are 1.6 and V6 tail shafts the same spline? Is the shiney end the same for each?

Don't think so, could be wrong tho. :roll:

You may be able to swap em at the uni tho.
Don't you have a drop saw & a mig??

i was just thinking about getting Mugwuis shaft he has for sale, but not sure if it'll fit at the spline end.

the other end is easy, seems to be the same as a WT end, bolts up to hilux diffs.

v6 is a coarser spline than 1.6.
