Hey guys..,
Looking at buying a 90 or 91 vit 2door hardtop. Used mainly on road but with some wheeling thrown in on weekends while the sierra is off the road gettin prettied up.
Just wanted your opinions on these vits and whether you reckon we should do it or not.

Questions; Are they a good road car? reliable, etc, etc, etc
Are they capable off road with a slight tweak?
What price would be reasonable for a stocker?
Any previous or current owners opinions would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks in advance guys..

yes yes and yes :)

OME springs and struts will sort the suspension out if you want good, for cheap you can flip the strut tops and fit some spacers :)

you can get 235/75 on pretty easy

one big thing to watch out for is have a really good look around the back of the block for signs of coolant weeping through the block, that is baaaad and if it feels like its down on power it could have a flogged crank, hard to tell without pulling the timing belt off though

other than that depending on spec and condition, 3-10000 is what they sell for

I have heard of heavy beach work ones rusting the chassis around the drain holes just behind the front suspension and I reckon they would rust at the back of the front guards given enough chance
