Hey,
Ive got a shifter bush kit i need to put in and quickly looking at it tonight how do i get the one off of the manual trans stick, above the pivot ball? Does the stick separate or something?

unscrew the gearknob and remove the bush and backing plate/washer from that way.

Yep but looking at it it doesnt look like the bush will fit over the bottom part of the stick, it seems wider then the actual bush?

Ok, all done. Now i feel a bit dumb

It didnt look like the original bush would fit over the stick but it just needed a bit of force. The new bush has a larger circle hole which fits over easily whereas the old one has a square hole. Thanks
