i bought some new semi sealed lens' for my sierra and have found they dont fit the 'ring thing' that you fit them into before putting them in the car.. what i mean by that is, the lid that the three screws clamp to isn't thick enough. Can you get new 'ring things' to suit or should i try and dodge up the old one? anyone else had drama's fitting new lens'
cheers,
Dave.

pics coming in 2 mins. maybe a better explanation is, the outer ring on the lens/insert on the new ones isn't as thick as the old ones...

Yer Ive seen it before, I had to use spacer's so the light could be clamped in, what ever you use has to heat resistant as the new insert get's very hot.
IMO the seni sealed kit is not wort a pinch of poo, as soon as you go near water with the light's on you will need to replace the bulb's, hot glass & water don't mix.

I had the same problem with mine . I cut some washer bottle hose and used as a spacer.

I have used a long piece of vacume line layed around the edge of the light. The fabric covered vac line. It also help prevent the light cracking from the clamp being too tight.
