Can't honestly say.
Had been climbing a fairly steep dune (~50 degrees, 20-30m high) for half a dozen runs. Not a problem.
Went to take the chicken track around the end of the dune on my way out heading home, and the diff started to clunk and bind up.

Got mostly towed off the beach then carfloated home, but had to do a bit of driving to get it up some hills.

The pinion is missing an couple of teeth, with a flat ground out section.

Minispool is OK, so I'll just grab a pair of centres and replace both diffs. (It's a maruti so the ratio's are odd, 4.09:1).
