You can MAKE any seat fit but how well or easy to fit is the question. Just remember the area for your seat in a seirra isn't very big. One of the easiest and most common switch is the GTI seats. I have gen 2 GTI seat in mine and they look really good but it is a bit of a tight fit on the passanger side. I found it easiest to take the old slider off the factory seat re-install them in the car without the seat on it. Then place your new seats ontop of the old sliders then messure out or mark the seats to know where you will mount the sliders to them. Remember the passanger side seat base (the slider) is much taller then the driver side due to the flip forward. It will take a few extra seconds to make sure the 2 new seats sit at the same leavel.
All you need is a welder and some 2 or 3mm flat pieces of steel or some scrap from around the shed. Just be sure to use the correct seatbelt ancore points and screws to keep the enganeers happy.
