Sorry, sure there has been too many threads on suspension lifts but my search thing showed up everything BUT what i wanted.

So im trying to decide what brand of suspension lift i want to get, I like the Ironman Kit (just because everything is in the pack) but ive heard alot about this OME kit.

Trying to avoid a bodylift like the plague - not a fan

What do you guys use?

as soon as I can afford it I want to get rid of my OME's and go back to EFS.

running OME's with the load leaf removed (still 5 leaves in each rear pack) the shackles invert on my LWB. I had to reinstall the load leaf.
never had any such problems running just 3 leaves in the EFS pack, was nice and flexxi too.
a 6 leaf pack doesn't flex!

i drove on ome springs for 3 weeks and they would invert driving up my
driveway. put in a set of calmini springs and havent looked back.

Deos OME have a kit or do you have to get all the parts seperate? and make up you own kit?

I bought all my OME stuff seperate, that's the only way it was offered to me.

There isn't much you need
-springs
-bush's
-u bolts

and also consider moving your diff forward at the same time as your going to have it pretty much out anyway.

im sure they would have a kit. but my shocks were still alright and I got a set of bruces bushes. all I needed was some decent springs, come to think of it, I still do!!!

I love my OME's.

never had a problem with them that i didn't create, and they flex shweet

my efs fronts have sagged way to much, the rears are good and thats after 4-5yrs. I carry 2-300kgs in the back of mine regulary over that time.

I have OME 50mm lift in the front and the metal shackle eyes slide side to side in the springs. Every corner bang bang. Must have got a crook batch. Have lost about 30mm of lift in 12 mths.
Having said that I can't fault the ride.

I have lovells 2" springs in mine. I love them. Nice and flexy, far better ride than the stock springs, and I know a guy who's had the same springs for years, no signs of sagging yet...

I have ome's in mine. I think they've sagged a bit, but have excellent flex for standard springs. The car has also got an excellent ride (for a Sierra), and they've given my wife a complex because every time she get's in the car tilts a little to the side

cant fault my ome springs just gotta work out a shock im happy with.

squire zook my front leaves were the same as yours so i went to ARB and they rang head office who said book it in under warranty and just tack the sleeves into the springs so i took it home and just went 4 tacks either side of the sleeves to my springs.bit dodgy and not real happy with it but no more yucky noises.Im guessing they stuffed up on their press fit measurements for a while??

Thanks for the tip I was thinking of lowering them out and welding some tacks on each side there only a sleve for the shackle so won't hurt.
Spring bloke said if I pulled em out he would fix em for $30 Too much hassle
