Anyone know where I can source those nice COle Hersee switches in Brisbane?

Also, The three switch holes to the right of the steering column (09 Jimny) are recessed. Is this a pain or is there some kind of spacer that can be installed?

Coventry at Virginia has the switches, about $60.

Extreme Motorsports didn't have any and didn't know what i was talking about a while back, and they were going to order it from Ashdowns and be about $120.

arb will sell you the switches separately, they even have the actuators without the air locker or compressor printing on them, you just have to ask for them

That first link is great, not Contura stuff but if they fit the same size hole they are a perfect fit in the WT dash

Nice looking switches. You wouldnt be able to fit more than a couple in a zook tho, take up the whole dash.

That's a neat switch panel PJ.

FYI, those switches that Atari linked to, you could fit 6 of those in a WT dash, 3 on either side of the steering column. I have my compressor and air locker switches installed to the left of the steering column.

I wish i had found those switches before I made my switch panel up for my lights n stuff. The are the coolest looking switch around & yeah I love my locker switches!!!

just get the carling ones, you know they are good, OEM in most earthmoving equip, so they cant be wrong!

goodluck in trying to get anything out of amelec, i tried a while back and they werent that helpful, unless i wanted 1000 of them

can try waytek in the states, i ordered some thru them, i think they were only like 5 buck each

I purchased a couple of OEX branded switches yesterday from Ashdown. I did ask to see the Cole Hersee ones but that is what they showed me and i thought they were ok.

I installed the HID's today from scratch and with a relay as suggested. the only thing I cheated on was getting an earth from the brown dash plug for the switch illumination.

I am very impressed with the way it has come up. I made a couple of mistakes. 1 - chose a fuse of too low amperage. 2. Had the fig 8 power cable to one of the lights back to front. 3. Tried using bullet connectors but they were too unreliable.

I took the negative switched signal wire from the LHS High Beam wire and made the HID's positively switched. I utilised an existing threaded hole in the body in front of the washer bottle to mount the relay and get an earth. I used a sealed standard SPADE type fuse holder directly from the battery POS.
