So the beast has been off the road for the last few weeks, (and still is technically until I get the calmini kit fitted) but Inoticed this week when I took it for a quick drive just to keep her running, that the clutch has gotten particularly bad! It has been giving me grief for 4 months or so, but has obviously finally gotten to the point of no return. Now the gearbox is coming out during the body and suspension lift to replace a leaking rear main. But I am reluctant to pay the $$$ for genuine. What aftermarket options are around for a 99 2.5 litre V6 GV?

Cheers

Don't get to excited, the market is very small, they may not do them yet.

I fitted a Clutch Industries RPM clutch when I replaced my rear main. Have only been on two runs with it so far but it spins the brand new 245/70R16 tyres with out slipping.

I don't know what brand it is but my mechanic put a so called heavy duty clutch in mine and it is shithouse!

It has been in there for about 10 000km and it only needs a little bit of pressure on the pedal to start slipping.

The factory clutch felt pretty good in my opinion.
