Your answer is there, the 1lt's have different center's
The 1.3's are the n/t's that the flange's swap across to w/t diff's.
I think, could be wrong, but the 1lt diff's bolt up to the w/t housing's, I think the side gear's have to be changed for the axle's tho.
Hope that help's

no your wrong. the 1lt diff's are completely incompatable with the WT stuff. you will have to change the uni's on your shafts.

Can't you just swop the outputs from the transfer cases? Then run W/T shafts?

Beg to differ. Some 1L came out with solid driveshafts. Were very small OD, but solid. This helped with clearance and strength, but made vibration and weight an issue.
But really, NT WT or 1L doesn't matter. Unless you are running a bigger motor than G16 EFI, shaft strength is not an issue.
You should just get some NT 1.3L drive shafts and swap the yoke off the drive shaft to match the new diff. Cheapest way out.

Sorry Pete but the solid shafts are no where near as strong as a hollow shaft of the same weight. All the strength is in the outside diameter. The centre of the shaft essentially does nothing for strength either in torsion or bending

if your transfer doesnt have a 4wd switch on it you cant fit 1.3 flanges onto it either, youll have to swap yokes on your 1lt shafts

That's what I want to do to the Lil wagon, but was advised against it.
To me that is still strong enough, if you look at yoke's or drive shaft spacer's
that are sold thay have multiple hole's in em.
I have also drilled in the past with no ill effect's & a bombed 250 cross flow has just a touch more power than a Zook.(not as reliable tho)

Thats exactly what we did in the LJ to suit vit flanges no problems so far, 5 years and counting.

ok its all back together took it 4 a spin in gh and no vibrations at all. and i would think the drive shaft bolts would break b4 the flange would if they have been drilled out. thanks again
