I replaced seals in the dizzy. It's fine now, but I've noticed that sump leaks a bit. Do I need to buy a gasket and put gasket sump sealant or jst sump sealant only. Should I do anything (clean) with the oil strainer while I have sump off the engine? What do you advise?

hmm, just tighten the bolt's and see how she goes, if it still leaks buy a $10gasket from repco and she will be right and not leak at all

yea that bit about dizzy might be confusing. It leaked from dizzy housing before, so I didn't know that sump leaks too. thanks.

'if' the sump is leaking from the bottom rear than its more than likely a rear main. just use silicone, suzuki never had a gasket for the sump.

as they said i would use silicone to seal it...
while it is out it wouldn't hurt to clean the oil pick up. as your already in there.

I changed clutch and rear main two weeks ago. It looks like sump is leaking in few places, not only at rear, I was wondering if that oil was because of the dizzy leak or sump leak, once I replaced dizzy seals and rear main (didn't leak) it means its sump. Anyway I pull it apart, use sillicon and will see if its only this or something else.
I was confused, because manual doesn't show any gasket, but you can buy one.

As others have said, just scrape the bottom surface of the block with a razor blade to remove old sealant and do the same with the sump. Then apply a few mm thick bead of silicon gasket sealant (must be automotive type, not houshold shit ) and let it sit for a few mins. Then bolts it up firm.

And just a word of advise, trust the sealant. Don't go swinging off those little bolts because it doesn't take much to snap them off in the block.
