Coily wheel bearings are not adjustable. Buy new ones.
If the kingpins had no shims then you may find they have been adjusted before and have had them removed to do so.

Sorry but...... Welcome to coilys mate. I have just finished fixing mine(with a lot of help from Steknig). My my hubs were rooted so I got some off a Vitara I think(cheers Fatzook). They have no adjustment, correct, they come with a predetermined preload(i think that's its technical term). The long and the short of it is there fucked!! Get some new ones PM weaves, he has it all. Really well priced also.

I thought that coily axles were longer than WT?? And coily has high pinion front, so you would need to run WT knuckles with tie rod infront of diff.

someone should at least have a play, and take some proper measurements and stuff
i rekon even tough replacements could be made to work in the rear of a coily with the right bearing placement and drum spacing maybe longer studs..

umm...a few dramas there. yeas, the coilys are a wider axle but have cv with a stub length the same as a vit. lots of work to make it usable on a coily, plus there is the steering issues to deal with as the coily has a hi-pinion centre, the nt aint.

Sounds like a bad idea to me.
So everytime you break a CV you will possibly need a WT axle anda coily axle to make a new one?
Just weld the coily diff and move on

I'll get some measurements of a WT front axle tomorrow. I don't have a coily one to compare to tho.

Not sure I follow Keensy.
You have a NT sierra? And you want to fit coily diffs?

Coily front diff is different to NT or WT - reverse cut/high pinion. Coiliy CVs look like 1L/Jimny - not same as NT/WT. Just get some WT diffs IMO. Dump the coily ones at my place... Or, if it is track width that you want, keep your NT diffs and get some custom offset rims. NT CVs are cheap, but note no CroMos are available for NT!

Forget the coily diffs. Thats a terrible idea.
Get yourself some wide tracks and -12 or -25 rims.

Yeah thats what he wanted to do. IMO its not a great idea. A WT diff is far better suited to his needs. Easy upgrades, easy install.......
