ive got a 16v vit which smokes quite alot (nothing on tickover). i pulled the plugs and they look realy good. the pcv(on the end of the pipe from the rocker cover) was broken when i got it and plugged with a screw could this cause smoking. what else could cause it to smoke. it runs lovely plenty of power and no missfires, it has done galatic miles but dont whant to fit a new motor if its something silly

yeah if the pcv is blocked it will tend to chug past the pistons and usually leak a lot of oil
